An Examination of the Impact of Psychosocial Factors on Mother-to-Child Trauma Transmission in Post-Migration Contexts Using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis

Objectives: The impact of psychosocial factors and social support in the transmission trauma related to migration mother–child dyad has not yet been amply explored. This article examines this role that may have traumatic experiences migrant mothers their children. Patients method: study was conducted France focused on 14 dyads which were exposed potentially events absence child, before or after birth. To analyse corpus information collected, team used a qualitative method based Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) guidelines.
